The Tallest Building in Vietnam

3/16/24

I may have powered through the 16-hour flight, but WOW I was fighting for my life on the last one. Luckily, the plane wasn't that full, so I had the whole. row. to. myself. And they gave me chocolate ice cream!!!

WHAT'S ON THE MENU?

(More) Bibimbap and Ice Creammm, + Pho (not pictured)

I landed at about 11pm Vietnam time, but even in the night, Saigon never sleeps!

My body actually has no sense of time or space anymore considering how long I spent solitary in a plane, followed by going to bed at 4pm EST, and waking up at 10pm EST. But honestly, it's not the jet lag that's getting me, it's the heartburn. My stomach has no idea what time it is, and that is challenging- but we eat on!

WHAT'S ON THE MENU?

Highland coffee + Banh Mi, Hot Pot, Lotteria Chicken Burger (not pictured)

We also did some sight-seeing, and ended up getting drinks at Landmark 81, which is the tallest building in Vietnam! Fun fact- Landmark 81 is about 1,000ft taller than the Space Needle! The drinks weren't really a big hit for us, but at least we had a view.

We also went and got scalp massages and I literally thought this lady was going to pull my hair out, but considering how oily my hair was when I got up this morning, the massage was more than needed.

In case you thought I was getting comfy in Saigon (which you probably didn't because I've literally been here 1 day), don't worry! Tomorrow, we leave at 5:30am sharp to go to Phan Thiet. THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES!!
